On this one day activity in Sintra Natural Park you will discover the beautiful Sintra forest, scrambling up its amazing granite landscapes, abseil along geological fractures and dykes and summit the Mountain on Sintra’s moorish castle.
In the process you will find out how Sintra Mountain was formed, why it contrasts so much with the surrounding plains and how this incredible landscape was carved by the elements.

Discover how water shapes landscapes
Learn basic mountaineering safety techniques
Walk along cliffs while protected by rope
Cross a small Via Ferrata
Conquer a moorish castle
